EDFA- Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers

 QFRF EDFA's are equipped with a 19" rack mount housing, a power range from 15dBm to 49dBm (31 to 80,000mw), and compatibility with CATV transmitters from 1540nm to 1563nm wavelength. They offer single 1550nm or up to 8 ITU grid wavelengths, along with Cable TV analog and digital QAM capability. Quality lasers and US-made components guarantee durability, with superior ventilation and heat-dissipation for long-life pump laser operation. An LCD panel displays system status and alarms, and the pump laser will shut down if input optical power is lost. Low Noise Figure ensures minimal CNR or MER impact. 1, 2, and 3RU heights are available, with dual redundant power supplies (120VAC, 240VAC, or -48VDC). SNMP Network Management port comes standard, and a Variable Output Power option (0 to -7dB) is offered. 1-512 outputs.
