This Return and Refund Policy explains when Quality Fiber and RF ("QFRF," "we," "us," and "our") may accept returns, authorize replacements, or issue refunds for products purchased through our website or otherwise sold by us. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and any applicable quote, order acknowledgment, invoice, credit agreement, or other written transaction terms. If separate written terms apply to a specific order, those terms control to the extent of any conflict.
1. Return window for eligible items
Eligible standard-stock items may be requested for return within 30 days after delivery, unless QFRF states a different period in writing. Return eligibility depends on the item type, condition, packaging, supplier restrictions, and any order-specific terms.
QFRF may deny a return request submitted after the applicable return period or for an item that does not qualify under this policy.
2. Items that are generally not returnable
Unless required by law or approved by QFRF in writing, the following items are generally not returnable: (a) custom, made-to-order, or special-order items; (b) cut-to-length or specially prepared materials; (c) opened, used, installed, altered, or damaged items; (d) clearance, final-sale, discontinued, or otherwise restricted items; and (e) items subject to software, license, hazardous-material, or supplier return restrictions.
3. Return authorization required
All returns require prior authorization from QFRF. To request a return, contact us with the order number, item details, quantity, and reason for the return.
If a return is approved, we will provide return instructions, which may include an RMA number, packaging requirements, return deadline, and return destination. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to sender at the customer's expense.
4. Condition of returned items
To qualify for return, an item generally must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in resalable condition, with the original packaging, labels, manuals, accessories, and components included. Proof of purchase or sufficient order information is required.
Items returned with missing packaging, missing parts, damage, signs of use or installation, or other condition issues may be rejected or may receive reduced credit where permitted by law.
5. Return shipping and original shipping charges
Unless the return is approved because QFRF shipped the wrong item, the product arrived damaged in transit under circumstances for which QFRF accepts responsibility, or the product is confirmed defective within the scope of the applicable remedy, the customer is responsible for return shipping, insurance, and packaging costs.
Original shipping, handling, expedited-service, and similar charges are generally non-refundable unless required by law or expressly approved by QFRF. Customers should use a trackable shipping method and package returned items carefully.
6. Restocking fees and supplier charges
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee, supplier return charge, or reduced credit based on the product type, supplier terms, condition of the goods, and the reason for the return. If a restocking fee or supplier charge applies, QFRF should disclose it when the return is approved to the extent it can be determined at that time.
7. Damaged, defective, short, or incorrect orders
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery. Visible shipping damage, carton shortages, or freight exceptions should be noted on the carrier delivery record when possible and reported to QFRF promptly with supporting photographs and order details.
If you believe an item is defective, incorrect, short-shipped, or otherwise nonconforming, notify QFRF promptly and provide the documentation reasonably requested for review. Depending on the circumstances, QFRF may provide replacement, repair coordination, return instructions, claim assistance, credit, or refund, subject to inspection, manufacturer review where applicable, and the governing transaction terms.
8. Refund timing
Refunds or credits are issued only after the returned goods are received, inspected, and approved, unless QFRF expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method where practical. If the original payment method cannot be credited, QFRF may use another reasonable refund method.
Approved refunds are generally processed within about 10 business days after approval, but posting times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment processor.
9. Exchanges
QFRF does not guarantee direct exchanges. If a replacement or substitute item is needed, QFRF may require a separate new order, replacement order, or another agreed transaction structure.
10. Order cancellations
Orders may be canceled only before shipment or release to the carrier, and only if the order has not already entered fulfillment, procurement, fabrication, or supplier commitment. Custom, made-to-order, special-order, or supplier-committed items may be non-cancelable or may be subject to cancellation charges, supplier charges, or partial refunds.
11. Return address
Do not send returns without prior authorization. The approved return destination may differ from QFRF's office address. If a return is approved, QFRF will provide the correct return location and instructions.
12. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
